In 2017 Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi as well as Daddy Yankee released Despacito and it topped the charts for most streamed songs during the course of the space of six months. It climbed to 41 in 2020. Justin Bieber's bilingual version of Despacito came out in the year 2017. Soon after, pop stars began to collaborate with reggaeton artists. Drake collaborated with Bad Bunny to create MIA (2018), and Madonna was a part of Maluma in the creation of Medellin. The gradual mainstreaming of reggaeton became an issue for certain performers during the year 2020. Rauw alejandro and a young generation, however, were keen to keep the look. The musician incorporated electronic dance music as well as other styles into his music.
