Ana Isabelle Bio

Ana Isabel Acevedo Aviles (born December 7, 1977) is an Puerto Rican dancer, singer and actress. Her debut album was released Por El Amor in December 2007, and won Univision's Viva el Sueno award for the year 2009. Ana Isabelle was unstoppable when she was able to land Steven Spielberg's West Side Story re-make in New York City as Rosalia. The actress co-starred with Laurence Fishburne in Imprisoned, and also in Coppola's remake "Dementia 13". Ana was the first to make her US Television debut in Seasons Of Love opposite Taraji P Henson, Gladys Knight and Method Man and was the first Latina musician to be featured in the TNT NBA All Stars commercial in which she and actor Chazz Palminteri paid homage to the greats of the basketball world with Ana performing "Power" by Kanye West. Other TV appearances include: Younger Strangers Big Dogs. In addition to her Broadway Worlds Regional Award, she won for her roles as Eva Peron and Anita at the Guthrie Theatre in West Side Story and Asolo Repertory Theatre in Evita. The shows she has performed at have sold out and she's appeared in solo shows as well as in duets together with Gilberto Santa Rosa. Ana Isabelle is a Latina performer who has released three very successful albums made available in Latin America and the US and Canada. Additionally, she won the Viva el Sueno music reality series produced by Univision in which Ana Isabelle became the next emerging Latina superstar. Billboard Magazine dubbed her as an artist worth watching.
