Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk is the child of a Briton as well as a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. At the beginning of her career Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television.
