She is best known for her roles as Jane Kerkovich Williams in ABC's comedy show Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney and Hannah Wyland on Quantico. In 2022, she appeared in the Fox comedy Pivoting. She also had an appearance in the Netflix series Murderville episode titled Who Killed Santa.After college, Coupe took classes in improvisational comedy at The Groundlings and ImprovOlympic. She performed in France as a soldier for an all-female King Lear production in 2003. Her show that was a one-woman production, The Patriots (a sketch show created by her) premiered in November 2005 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She won the Breakout Performer Award at HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, Aspen, Colorado. March 2006. From December 2007 until June 2013, Coupe was married to Randall Whittinghill, an actor instructor and puppeteer. She announced her engagement on Instagram on the 27th of November 2014. They were in vacation in New Zealand when they got married on the 24th of December 2014. In the year 2018 they divorced. Between April 2011 and May 2013, Coupe was a part of Elisha Cuthbert and Zachary Knighton on ABC's ensemble comedy show Happy Endings. After its third season concluded, ABC cancelled the show despite the critical acclaim. Happy Endings was cancelled. She appeared in a regular role on House Of Lies's third season. She she also starred alongside Jay Harrington in Benched, an American comedy on the USA Network that premiered on October 28th, 2014. She was later seen in the ABC thriller Quantico in the role of a recurring of FBI agent Hannah Wyland.
